Britain recorded 60,578 new infections with the Corona virus and 259 deaths from it during the past 24 hours.
The British Ministry of Health indicated in a statement that the total number of injuries in the country since the start of the pandemic has reached 17,749,999, while the total number of deaths has reached 158,243.
Britain ranks fifth in the world in terms of the number of infections due to the virus.
