Rayan, a 5-year-old Moroccan boy, dead after spending five days in a 105-foot well.
A few minutes after the rescue, the Royal House of Morocco reported that the child had died, according to various news agencies.
He was seen being carried out on a stretcher.
Several journalists, including Linah Alsaafin, a producer for the Al Jazeera news network, have shared the video where rescue teams are seen pulling the boy out.
Rayan fell into the well outside his home in the village of Ighran, in the Moroccan province of Chefchaouen, on Tuesday night.
