A bus was attacked this evening (Wednesday) on Eshkol Boulevard in Jerusalem, and the police are investigating a suspicion whether it is an air rifle.

The bus was damaged and no casualties were reported.

As stated, at this stage it appears that this is probably not a live firing of a firearm and the suspicion that the background to a criminal incident has been investigated.

At the same time, the searches for the suspect in the act continue, with the assistance of a helicopter from the Israel Police Air Unit.
