VfL Bochum made Bundesliga history with a 4-2 (4-1) win over FC Bayern: For the first time in more than 46 years, Bayern have conceded four goals in the first half.

VfL suffered the heaviest defeat in their league history in the 7-0 defeat in the first leg.

Great sport then in the 40th minute: Cristian Gamboa first tunneled Kinglsey Coman, received the ball with a heel and then chased the ball from the corner of the penalty area into the corner.

“That was a gala game for us,” said VfL captain Anthony Losilla later.

"Relatively early" he noticed that something is possible: "At some point everything worked out." He's probably right about that.

But the clear Munich bankruptcy remained.

“That was our worst performance of the season throughout the game,” Joshua Kimmich scolded on Sky: “We missed all the virtues.

It's not the first time this has happened to us this season," said the international, referring to the 5-0 defeat in Mönchengladbach in the DFB Cup.

Everyone has to ask themselves "whether that's the mentality that FC Bayern wants to embody."

On the other hand, VfL can celebrate: a memorable afternoon, a win against the leaders of the table from Munich and with 28 points they are now six points ahead of the relegation rank.
