(ANSA) - MILAN, FEBRUARY 14 - The second person involved in the serious road accident that occurred last night in Trezzano sul Naviglio, in the Milanese area, and which involved a motorcycle and an electric scooter, died in hospital this morning.
The Milan carabinieri confirmed this.
The driver of the micro-vehicle had died instantly, and the motorcyclist, who had been transported to hospital in severe conditions, also passed away this morning.
The two victims of the accident are a 39-year-old, irregular Moroccan, who was in the electric vehicle, and a 61-year-old driver of a high-powered motorcycle.
From the initial information on the surveys carried out by the carabinieri, yesterday evening, it seems that the driver of the scooter was crossing the road where the collision took place, and would have been hit by the motorcyclist.
It is not known, at the moment, whether there have been risky maneuvers of the small vehicle and whether it was equipped with lights or not, as well as the speed of the motorcycle (ANSA).
