Linda Thomas-Greenfield, the US ambassador to the United Nations, on Monday rejected Russia's military action in Ukraine during a speech she delivered during an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council.
The official assured that "Russia's clear attack on Ukrainian territory and its sovereignty was not provoked."
She stressed that an attack against Ukraine threatens the sovereignty of any member country of the United Nations.
