(ANSA) - WASHINGTON, FEBRUARY 23 - The Supreme Court has formally rejected Donald Trump's request to block the access of the parliamentary commission on the assault on Congress of the White House documents related to the affair.

The judges did not accept his appeal against the decision of a lower court, which authorized access to the cards.

Rudy Giuliani, Donald Trump's former lawyer, is expected to work with the parliamentary committee investigating the January 6 assault on Congress.

The Guardian writes, referring to an agreement that could be agreed within a few weeks.

The attorney's testimony, if unrestricted, could be a turning point for the investigation, which aims to hear key members of Trump's entourage.
