"With March 31 and the end of the state of emergency a new phase will begin, there will be a gradual relaxation of the restrictive measures, certainly including the Green Pass. Today there are the conditions for not renewing the state of emergency. On the Green Pass, however, a clear distinction must be made:
for the over 50s in the workplace the obligation of the reinforced lasts until June 15
".
Undersecretary of Health Andrea Costa said on Morning 5. "Then there are still about 10 million people who have to do the booster, also for this reason the easing measures must be gradual".
"We cannot afford to convey to citizens a message that implies that the measures are loosening and therefore the booster dose is not done: instead we must have 49 million Italians even with the booster and for this reason the measures will be gradual", Costa added.
"The discourse of the Green pass changes for outdoor activities - he underlined - we will gradually begin with the lightening of bars and restaurants that have dehors, in some cases it will be possible to pass from the reinforced Green pass to the basic one".
The Undersecretary of Health then spoke of the need to align the measures: "For example, with yesterday's ordinance we said that, to say, a Japanese can enter Italy even after having a swab and having a negative result. But then we tell him that if he does not have a Green pass he cannot use Italian means of transport. Well, then these decisions will have to be aligned ", he concluded.
