The Ukrainian embassy in Tel Aviv is recruiting Israelis to fight against the Russian invasion
A statement issued by the embassy on the Facebook page said that it had begun compiling a list of volunteers interested in participating in the fight against Russian aggression in Ukraine.

The Ukrainian Embassy in Israel issued a statement today (Saturday) calling on those interested in participating in the defense of Ukraine.
"If you are willing to defend the sovereignty of Ukraine please send us a message," the statement said.
"An urgent message for those interested in participating in the defense of Ukraine from Russian aggression," read a post on the embassy's Facebook page.
"All our countrymen, the Israeli citizens who care and the citizens of other countries who are now in Israel. The embassy has begun to compile a list of volunteers who are interested in participating in the fight against Russian aggression. If you are willing to defend Ukrainian sovereignty please send us a message."

The post provided e-mail addresses for sending personal details, passport number and type of military specialization.
There are hundreds of thousands of civilians of Ukrainian
descent in Israel, some of whom have served in the IDF.
"We have discussed urgent humanitarian aid from Israel, and I am happy to say that we expect to receive it in the coming hours," he said, adding: "This is mainly medical assistance to the hospitals.
