The Ukrainian authorities announced the temporary closure of the ports on its borders with Russia, Belarus and Transnistria.
The Ukrainian Border Authority said in a statement on its Facebook page today, "The ports with Russia and Belarus are temporarily closed."
The statement indicated that the possibility of entry of Ukrainian citizens into the country's territory across the border will be guaranteed.
The announcement by the Border Authority of closing the border crossings with the mentioned countries comes against the backdrop of the military operation that Russia has been conducting in Ukraine since the 24th of this month.
