Russia's military offensive against Ukraine has prompted thousands of people to seek refuge in neighboring countries such as Poland.
The problem?
In many cases, women are forced to leave behind their fathers, husbands and children due to an executive order of the Ukrainian government.
CNN journalist Arwa Damon traveled to Pshemysl, Poland, -very close to the border with Ukraine- to hear the testimonies of some of the refugees.
