The Hama Traffic Branch arrested a motorist who hit two people on a motorcycle and fled.
The Ministry of Interior said in a statement today, "The driver of a Dacia Solenza car made a forbidden turn at the Health Junction in Hama and hit two people driving a motorcycle, then fled."
The ministry added, "Immediately, the injured were taken to Hama National Hospital, and they are in good health. The driver was pursued by the Hama Traffic Branch, and he was arrested, and the necessary control was organized, and he will be duly referred to the judiciary."
The Ministry of Interior called on motorists to adhere to traffic etiquette and rules and to abide by the meaning of the signs specified for road traffic, in order to avoid unfortunate traffic accidents and maintain safety.
