The Ministry of Communications and Technology indicated that the number of subscribers to telephony services until the first of last month reached 2810379 subscribers from all governorates with ADSL services, 1580925 subscribers, including 1056009 with a messaging provider and 524916 with private providers.
The ministry clarified in its publication on its official Facebook page that the total number of gates assigned to the Ministry of Communications and Technology from a messaging service provider reached 219,492 gates in Damascus governorate until the beginning of last month, in Damascus countryside 182,000 gates, in Aleppo 137,585, in Hama 106489, in Latakia 105962 and in Homs 105878 And in Tartous 105164, in As-Suwayda 53900, in Daraa 22155, in Deir Ezzor 9506, in Quneitra 7309, in Raqqa 422 and in Hasaka 147 gates.
