(ANSA) - ROME, MARCH 10 - Green light from the Conference of the Regions to the National Plan for the management of radiological and nuclear emergencies.
"Precisely to allow rapid approval, various meetings were held for discussion with the central administrations and between the Regions. All this led to a shared text".
This was stated by the president of the Conference of Regions, Massimiliano Fedriga.
The favorable opinion on the Plan was given in the Unified Conference today.
"With respect to iodoprophylaxis, we ask the Government - added Fedriga - to facilitate the distribution of the iodiostable, also with reference to its pharmacological classification, and to issue an additional implementation document specifying timing, methods, communication activities, subjects involved, roles and responsibilities".
