An Israeli citizen crossed the border fence during the night (Tuesday) in the direction of Lebanese territory.
He was there for an hour, when IDF observations identified him walking around the fence area. Later, IDF forces were called to the scene and returned him to Israel.
The incident took place in the Al Aramsha area of the Western Galilee, when the suspect who crossed the fence is mentally disturbed.
After his arrest, he was transferred to the care of the Israel Police and the circumstances of the incident are being investigated.
In another incident, IDF fighters today arrested a suspect who tried to cross the barrier from the northern Gaza Strip into Israeli territory. No weapon was seized on the suspect and he will be questioned on the spot.
