President Herzog will take off to visit France and meet with Macron Israel today

The president and his wife will participate in a ceremony marking the tenth anniversary of the terrorist attack at the Or Torah school in Toulouse, in which a teacher and three students were murdered in 2012

President Yitzhak Herzog will take off tomorrow (Sunday) for France, where he will meet with French President Emanuel Macron.

Herzog will take part in the memorial service for the massacre at the Jewish school in Toulouse, on the tenth anniversary of the incident.

As part of the visit, Herzog and Macron will lay a wreath at the foot of the monument at the Or HaTorah Jewish school in Toulouse in the afternoon, in memory of those killed in the 2012 terrorist attack in which a teacher and three students were killed.

Afterwards, the president and his wife, accompanied by the president of France and his wife, will meet with Yaakov and Yaffa Monsongo, who lost their 8-year-old daughter Miriam, in a terrorist attack in Or HaTorah.

The meeting will be attended by two former French presidents, François Hollande and Nicolas Sarkozy.

During the ceremony, the President and President of France will speak, as well as the head of the "Creep" organization of Toulouse.

Upon their return to Paris, President Herzog and his wife will be hosted at the Elysee Palace at the invitation of the President of France and his wife.

Herzog and his wife will return to Israel on Monday afternoon.
