The Israeli guard Adam Sharbakov won the Junior College League championship in the United States together with North West Florida State College after defeating Salt lake CC 67:83 tonight (Saturday to Sunday) in the final game.
Sharbakov (18, 1.90 m) grew up in the youth department of Hapoel Emek Yizrael and was also selected last season in the second five of the Youth Premier League.
Last summer he won with the youth team in the Challenger tournament held in Tel Aviv.
He will now move on to a second season in college and will try to defend his title as champion.
