XV of France: and now, the 2023 World Cup…

ANALYSIS – The Blues have sent a strong signal to the rugby planet by completing a Grand Slam full of mastery. They can legitimately nurture high ambitions for their World Cup.

In 536 days, the XV of France will kick off "its" World Cup.

A clash of entry titans, Friday September 8, 2023 at the Stade de France, against the All Blacks.

We can say without boasting that the Blues will be among the favorites for the supreme title.

Perhaps they will even be the huge favorites if, by then, they continue to gain momentum, to progress, to sow doubt in the minds of their opponents.

With this Grand Slam in the 2022 Six Nations Tournament, following a success against England (25-13), they have already hit hard.

Other opportunities to drive the point home arise on the road to the World Cup.

Not necessarily next July, where Fabien Galthié will leave for Japan with a very revamped team.

Most executives will be rested for services rendered (and recuperating from their intense season),

just like the finalists of the Top 14, exempt from this Japanese tour because of the calendar.
