The Russian National Guard announced the elimination of more than 300 Ukrainian ultra-nationalists in the Kharkov province of eastern Ukraine.
Russia Today quoted a statement by the Guard that its members penetrated the enemy's defensive lines and liberated five towns during a series of clashes that resulted in the killing of 300 extremists and the seizure of enemy weapons and military vehicles.
For his part, the President of the Donetsk People's Republic, Denis Pushilin, announced the destruction of the 36th Marine Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
In a statement, Pushilin said that the 36th Marine Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces had been completely destroyed, which would facilitate movement through the city of Mariupol.
