(ANSA) - LONDON, MARCH 24 - The former king of Spain Juan Carlos, 84, does not enjoy criminal immunity due to his status as a front to the justice of the United Kingdom and will therefore have to answer for the accusation of harassment brought against him before a court of London by his ex-lover Corinna zuSayn-Wittgenstein-Sayn.
This was established by the British High Court.
The lawyers of the former sovereign, who has long since abdicated and does not live in the Kingdom, had asked for the recognition of immunity last December.
