In the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, the battle for control of the skies has been a constant.
Many thought that due to the superiority in number of aircraft of the Russian air force, the Ukrainians would not have the option to prevent the total and absolute control of their skies.
But so far there has been no Russian superiority in the airspace and that is because the Ukrainian air force has not allowed Russia to control it.
Fred Pleitgen spoke to a Ukrainian driver who told him how they put the strategy into action to beat the Russian drivers.
