The Egyptian team achieved a valuable victory over its Senegalese guest, 1-0, in the match that brought them together today in the first leg of the decisive round of the African qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup.
The game's only goal came through Senegalese defender Salio Cisse by mistake when the ball bounced off the post after Mohamed Salah's shot and hit Cisse before continuing her way to embrace the Senegalese net in the fourth minute of the meeting.
With this victory, the Egyptian team put forward the World Cup, awaiting the return match that will be held in Senegal next Tuesday to decide the identity of the qualifier for the World Cup.
