The Belarusian security announced that 50 citizens are fighting in Ukraine against the Russian forces in the ranks of the organization of the Belarusian battalion that shares the activities of the neo-Nazis in Ukraine.
"There are 50 people affiliated with the opposition abroad who have declared their participation in the fighting and will be prosecuted on charges of participating in an armed conflict on the territory of a foreign country," TASS news agency quoted Deputy Organized Crime Service of the Belarusian Interior Ministry, Mikhail Bedonkevich, as saying.
Bedonkevich stated that the leaders of the Belarusian opposition living abroad promote the activities of this extremist battalion and are responsible for its formation.
Bedonkevich also revealed plans to damage the Belarusian railways, indicating that the people involved in planning these sabotage acts were arrested and imprisoned.
