Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Major-General Igor Konashenkov announced the destruction of 91 military sites and the downing of a Mi-24 helicopter of Ukrainian forces during the past 24 hours.
"The Russian Air Force destroyed 91 Ukrainian military sites, including two command centers, 11 ammunition depots, 20 military sites and 52 gathering areas for weapons and military equipment," Konashenkov said in a press statement today.
Konashenkov added that the Russian air defense system had shot down a Ukrainian Mi-24 helicopter over the village of Staraya Basan and four drones, one of which approached Sevastopol from the Black Sea side, noting that since the start of the Russian military operation in Ukraine, 271 drones, 1,627 tanks and armored vehicles have been destroyed. 167 rocket launchers, 669 cannons, and 1,474 military vehicles.
