A 20-year-old man was shot dead this evening (Thursday) in the town of Jat in the Sharon.
The young man was found lying shot on the sidewalk and was brought to Baqa al-Jarbiya for the purpose of teaming up with MDA staff. Paramedics determined his death on the spot. Police have opened an investigation on suspicion of murder.
MDA paramedic Omar Kabha said: "The wounded man was brought to us to join the entrance to Baqa al-Jarbia while he was unconscious with serious injuries to his body.
He was unconscious, with no pulse and no breathing and after performing resuscitation operations we had to determine his death. "
