The United Nations Human Rights Council approved the creation of a group of experts to investigate complaints of violations of these individual guarantees in Nicaragua.
These reports arose from the citizen protests of April 2018. The Nicaraguan government rejected the resolution and considered that it was a biased report with data from a sector of the population.
