The Council of Ministers could be held tomorrow instead of Thursday for the launch of the Economic and Financial Document.

According to what is learned from various government sources, a control room was convened on the Def in the early afternoon of tomorrow and the CDM should be convened to follow.

"The deviation cannot be a taboo: if necessary it must be decided", says Antonio Misiani, economic manager of the Democratic Party.

For the war and the energy crisis, the Def will cut the 2022 GDP estimates, bringing them "a little below 3%

": this was said by undersecretary to Mef Maria Cecilia Guerra in an interview with RaiNews24.

Guerra also spoke of new measures "in the coming days", which will focus "above all on the companies most affected by the rise in prices and the shortage of raw materials, both energy and in other fields, let's think of ceramics".

But there will also be "support for the weakest sections of the population, we have already allocated around 16 billion to this type of intervention but we will continue because the emergency remains rather high".

"Due to the war and also the energy crisis we will need to revise the growth forecasts: in Nadef we had assumed 4.7%, now we will have to think about growth in 2022 a little below 3%", said the undersecretary.

"In the coming days, we will need to focus our attention above all on the companies most affected by the increase in prices and the shortage of raw materials, both energy and other fields, let's think about ceramics, and then we will have to focus our attention on supporting weaker segments of the population. We have already allocated around 16 billion to this type of intervention, but we will continue because the emergency remains rather high ", concluded Guerra.
