(ANSA) - BEIJING, APRIL 11 - China has urged NATO "to refrain from attempting to destabilize Asia or the world in general": this is the response of the Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian to the statements of the Secretary General of the Alliance Jens Stoltenberg, according to which Beijing places "a systemic challenge" to the national security of "democracies".
NATO should stop "spreading false and provocative remarks" against China and abandon "its conflicting approach of drawing lines based on ideology".
Beijing is "strongly dissatisfied with and resolutely opposed to recent unfounded accusations and defamatory attacks".
