Since Easter, Italian ports are prohibited for all ships flying the Russian flag. The ban will also affect boats that changed flag after February 24, the day on which Vladimir Putin's tanks invaded Ukraine: the measure is contained in a circular from the General Command of the Port Authority and Coast Guard which acknowledges the European Union directive of 8 April with which further sanctions against Russia were introduced.
