The president of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, confirmed the disappearance of an elite investigative group in Mexico that had been collaborating with the United States Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) for decades.
The president said that his government seeks to respect the sovereignty of the country, and that said group did what he wanted.
