The Donetsk People's Republic announced that 5 people were injured as a result of the shelling of the Ukrainian forces on its territory.
"The Ukrainian forces targeted several areas with shelling, which led to the injury of 5 people in the liberated areas," RIA Novosti news agency quoted the Republic's mission to the Joint Coordination Center for Oversight of the Ceasefire in Donbas as saying.
The mission confirmed that the total number of people injured in the liberated territories of the Donetsk People's Republic by the fire of Ukrainian forces since the start of the Russian special military operation to protect Donbass has reached 1,236 people, including 67 children.
