The General Directorate of Meteorology announced that a dusty air mass coming from the north of the Arabian Peninsula affected the southern and eastern regions, and is expected to continue for the next 24 hours.
Weather forecaster Mahmoud Ismail said in a statement to SANA that the reason for the dust in the southern and southeastern regions is a dusty air mass coming from the north of the Arabian Peninsula that accompanies the surface temperature depression that affects the region now.
Ismail expected that this dusty misty atmosphere will continue for the next 24 hours with a chance of thunder showers of rain in these areas, calling on citizens to be careful, especially drivers, due to low visibility in such dusty weather.
