Opposition leader Benjamin Netanyahu estimates that there is a high probability that another Knesset member from the coalition will announce his resignation this week.

"Israel Today" has learned that Netanyahu has said this in recent days to some of his associates in closed talks.

The opposition is concentrating efforts on the announcement already this week and even before the Knesset committee convenes, which is due to hold a debate on the declaration of MK Amichai Shikli as retiring from the right-wing faction, a debate that will reportedly be boycotted by RAAM.

Last week, Knesset member Ophir Akunis said: "Next week, a statement should be issued that will shake up the coalition and they will also lose the equality they currently have in the Knesset."

The chairman of Religious Zionism, MK Bezalel Smutrich, said: "I know about people for sure. I will not go into names but I can say with certainty that the government has finished its way."

It is estimated that in recent times, especially after the retirement of Idit Silman and the fact that the coalition remained without a majority in the Knesset, there have been intense contacts between opposition elements, including Netanyahu and Smutrich, and right-wing Knesset members with new intentions. Parliamentary which will accelerate the chances of overthrowing the government soon.
