Bayern Munich rejected the departure of Polish star Robert Lewandowski from its ranks at the end of the current season.
“There is no intention to give up the best player in the Polish world, Lewandowski, at the end of the current season,” Bayern Munich sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic said, stressing his association with a contract that ends in June 2023.
During the last period, the name of the Polish Lewandowski was linked to leaving Bayern Munich and joining Barcelona at the end of the current season, despite the extension of his contract with the Bavarian until 2023.
