(ANSA) - PARIS, APRIL 24 - The RassemblementNational candidate for the presidency of the Republic, Marine Le Pen, voted shortly after 11 in her electoral fiefdom of Henin-Beaumont, in northern France, for the second round of presidential elections which sees her opposed to Emmanuel Macron.
The candidate walked up to the polling station, greeting the crowds who were waiting for her, in the company of Mayor Steeve Briois, also from Le Pen's party.
The candidate placed the card in the urn smiling at the photographers.
In the afternoon, the return to Paris and the transfer to the Parisian headquarters for the election evening are scheduled.
