The Prime Minister of Baden-Württemberg, Winfried Kretschmann, spoke out in favor of speedy ratification of the European-Canadian trade agreement CETA because of the Ukraine war - and in doing so, he also opposed his own party.

"This is now an announcement to your own shop," said the Green politician on Thursday evening at a panel discussion in Zurich.

Zurich - "If we can't even make a free trade agreement with Canada, then with whom?" he asked.

One should no longer get caught up in the small details.

At the latest because of the Ukraine war, one must now take a better look at the major problems.
