This was said by the secretary of the Democratic Party, Enrico Letta, on the sidelines of a meeting with young people in an oratory in Milan, regarding the decisions on Russian gas.
The choices, added Letta, "are objectively complex, it is natural that there is debate and discussion", but "we must be united: united Europe is able to implement initiatives that have positive effects for the defense of Ukraine and to put the Russian invader in a difficult condition.
If Europe divides, this gives exactly the opposite effect ", he concluded.
