At the ceremony this evening at the Quirinale on the occasion of June 2, there will be no ambassadors from Russia and Belarus accredited to Italy.
In the evening there will be a brief statement by the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, which will be followed by a concert performed by the Orchestra of the "La Fenice" Theater conducted by Maestro Myung Whun Chung.
The choice follows what was decided in early May in Brussels not to involve representatives of the two countries in events of this type, such as national holidays.
