Another interesting move in the national league: "Israel Today" has learned that Afik Nissim will be appointed CEO of Maccabi Rehovot.
Nissim, 41, played at the highest levels of Israeli and European basketball.
In recent years he has played mainly in the National League and the National League.
Just a few weeks ago he led Rehovot to promotion to the second division, and now he is expected to get a leading managerial role at the club in order to march him to achievements.
The appointment does not mean that the player retires from basketball permanently, and it is possible that like many players he will continue to play in the national league or in lower leagues.
