Against the background of the renewal of the collective agreement, the technical staff of the theater declared a strike • All plays in Tel Aviv and in the halls in the periphery were canceled • The theater's response: "Apologies to the audience, we hope the crisis will end"

The Baruch Ivcher Beit Lessin Theater's performances are canceled starting tomorrow (Friday) from 19:00, in Tel Aviv and also in the halls in the periphery, as a result of a strike announced by the theater's technical staff. This move comes after negotiations for more than a year The management of the theater to the Technical Workers' Committee regarding the renewal of the collective agreement of the technical staff.

Despite the many efforts to reach an agreement and prevent the strike, including contacting various parties that will mediate between the parties, including the Ministry of Economy, discussions have exploded and the one who will mostly pay the price is the audience, who will not be able to watch the performances.

The Beit Lessin Theater responded: "For more than a year now, the theater's management has been making every effort to reach an agreement with the technical staff. Despite all our efforts, the negotiations have reached a dead end, due to excessive financial demands "Unfortunately, the technical workers chose to leave the negotiating table and declare a strike, following which all theater performances will be canceled, in Tel Aviv and the periphery. We apologize to the audience and hope that the technical staff will return to the negotiating table to bring the crisis to an end."
