Police are looking for a homicide man in Lippe and Rinteln

The police are looking for a 36-year-old suspect after a homicide in Kalletal in the Lippe district.

Initially, the police did not provide any further details as to who the man is said to have killed.

Several media reported an act of violence out of jealousy: The 36-year-old is said to have killed a rival, his wife's friend.

There was no confirmation of this from the police.

Bielefeld – The public prosecutor's office in Detmold and a homicide commission have been looking for the man since Saturday, according to the Bielefeld police.

The man was also searched for in Rinteln in neighboring Lower Saxony.

Helicopters are in use.

After extensive investigations, there is an urgent suspicion against the 36-year-old.

Investigators released the man's full name and released a mug shot of him.

However, they warned citizens not to speak to the man.

According to the police, the suspect has a conspicuous scorpion tattoo on his right arm and a sword emblem on the inside of his forearm.

Acquaintances of the suspect or people who can provide information about his whereabouts should contact the police immediately, it said.
