According to the Portuguese sports daily,
Renato Sanches
should officially commit to the capital club in the coming days.
RMC Sport
, for its part, confirms that the Lille midfielder would have given priority to the Rouge et Bleu for this summer and assures that "
negotiations are progressing well
".
The Portuguese international, 24, should therefore remain in Ligue 1, he who has been insistently announced on the side of AC Milan for several months.
If the operation were to be concluded, the former FC Bayern Munich player would be the second Parisian summer recruit after his compatriot Vitinha, who arrived from FC Porto.
In Paris, he would find his former coach in Lille, with whom he won the title of champion of France in 2020-2021, Christophe Galtier.
Last season, Renato Sanches took part in 24 Ligue 1 matches (1 goal, 5 assists).
