A toddler suffered severe burns to her arm in a bathroom.
The three-year-old was sent to the bathroom in Langenfeld south of Düsseldorf (NRW) to brush his teeth on Thursday morning, the fire department reported.
There the boy came to a hair straightener that had been used shortly before and was therefore still hot.
The ambulance requested a rescue helicopter.
The boy was flown to a special clinic for burns after the first aid on site.
