(ANSA) - ROME, JULY 15 - An earthquake of magnitude 5.8 occurred at 00.30 (Italian time) in the southern area of Ecuador, 300 km from the capital Quito.
It gives news to the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology.
The epicenter was located in the Pajonal area, with the center at a depth of 93 km.
