Police forces, including the naval police unit in Lachish, were called tonight (Tuesday) following a report of a vessel that apparently capsized in front of the port of Ashdod and had several people on it.
Naval police teams along with other Navy forces rescued five people from the water while conscious.

According to the report at this point, everyone who was on the vessel was located and rescued.
