Tour: Damiano Caruso has retired

Damiano Caruso has retired from the Tour de France.

The 34-year-old from Ragusa from Bahrain Victorious, who was 10th in the final classification of the Grande Boucle of 2020, did not start the 18th stage, from Lourdes to Hautacam, 143.2 km long and which includes great climbs.

For Caruso it is the first retirement of his career in a great lap.

He was 22nd in the standings at 1h07'38 "from Vingegaard.
