(ANSA) - TEHRAN, JUL 23 - At least 15 deaths have been recorded in the floods that hit southern Iran.
State Iranian media reports.
There are also eight missing in flooding from seasonal rains in Neiriz, near the town of Stahbann in the province of Fars, according to local authorities cited by Irna.
About 23 people were injured, 51 families were hit and 15 cars broke down in the river, while 500 local residents were evacuated.
The rescue teams employed are 22, while there are 74 rescued people up to now.
