Members of the Criminal Security Branch in Homs arrested a number of wanted persons for murder and arms trafficking.
The Ministry of Interior stated in a statement that SANA received a copy of it that by continuing the search for those wanted for serious crimes, the Criminal Security Branch in Homs was able to arrest three people, and by checking their status, it was found that the first and the second have judicial sentences against them for life imprisonment for the crime of murder, and the third is wanted for the crime of trafficking in arms and materials narcotic;
The ministry stated that by interrogating them, two of them confessed that they had killed two people in 2017, due to differences between them, and that they hid with the third person arrested, who also confessed to trafficking in military weapons, ammunition and drugs.
The ministry indicated the confiscation of a military rifle and a number of ammunitions that the arrestee was trading in, which were seized from his house, indicating that the necessary control has been organized against the arrested and they will be brought to justice.
