French soccer world champion Kylian Mbappé has caused a stir in Ligue 1 again.

The 23-year-old scored for Paris Saint-Germain after just over eight seconds to put them 1-0 ahead at OSC Lille on Sunday evening.

Mbappé lobbed the ball over goalkeeper Léo Jardim after a long pass from six-time world footballer Lionel Messi from the center circle.

According to data provider Opta, it was the fastest goal in France's elite league since it began collecting its own data in the 2006/07 season.

PSG won the away game after a gala performance 7:1.

In addition to Mbappé, Lionel Messi and Neymar also scored the unchallenged success, Mbappé entered the scorer list three times, Neymar twice.

In addition, former Dortmund player Achraf Hakimi also contributed a goal to the win.

The last time Lille conceded six goals at home was in 1958.
