This is the proposal to lower the price of energy advanced by the leader of the Third Pole, Carlo Calenda, in a video posted on his social networks.
As for the price of gas and renewables, explains Calenda, "we propose that GSE buys all the sources of electricity production. And you buy them, for gas, open to the market, because you can't fix a cap, otherwise you no longer have gas; for renewables, which have greatly increased their earnings, it is necessary to buy at 70 euros per MWh, that is, at a fixed price. "
With this mediation between market price for gas and fixed price for renewables, Calenda explains, "we will be able to bring the cost to approximately 330/350 euros per MWh from the 600 euros per MWh it is today."
"In addition, the price must be flattened to 100 eruo per MWh for companies in crisis, because they are profoundly energy-intensive, and for those that use gas in production. An operation - concludes Calenda - that ceases 10 billion euros" (ANSA).
